Creating Cloudflare Account
1. Go to Cloudflare.com and click on "Sign Up" at the top right corner of the page.
2. Fill in your email address and create a password to create your account.
3. Once you've logged in, click on the "Add a Website" button.
4. Enter the domain name you wish to add and click “Add website.”
5. Select the free plan and click on the "Confirm plan" button.
6. Next, you'll need to change your domain's name servers to the ones provided by Cloudflare. Go to your domain registrar's website and update your domain's name servers.
Changing Default Nameserver(GoDaddy) to Cloudflare Nameserver in Godaddy Account
- Log in to your GoDaddy account and navigate to the "Domains" section.
- Select the domain that you want to update the name servers for.
- Click on the "Manage" button next to "Nameservers."
- Select "Custom" from the drop-down menu, and remove the existing name servers from GoDaddy.
- Enter the two nameservers provided by Cloudflare.
- Click "Save" to update your name servers.
- Wait for the propagation of your updated name servers, which can take up to 48 hours.
7. Once the name server changes are propagated, go back to Cloudflare and click on the "Recheck Nameservers" button.
8. Once Cloudflare confirms that your name servers have been updated, you can click on the "Continue" button.
9. You will then be prompted to verify your email address.
10. Once your email address is verified, your domain will be added to your Cloudflare account and it will be active.
Generate CName and TXT Record from Foodomaa Admin Dashboard
11. In the Admin Dashboard, go to Admin > Settings > All Settings > Custom Domain
(This should be your main domain, make sure to enter this domain correctly)
12. You will be provided with the Records that need to be added to Cloudflare DNS Page.
There will be 3 Records:
Two TXT Records, and one CNAME Record
Add these records as shown on the Foodomaa Custom Domain page.
13. If the records are added successfully to Cloudflare, Foodomaa will automatically verify all the configs and your main domain will be ready to be linked. (Generally takes 2-5 minutes, if the records have been added without any mistake)
14. After this, create a ticket in support.foodomaa.com.
